SmartGreen Overview
SmartGreen is a hands-on approach to growing your business in a sustainable way. It will help you identify sustainability strategies and recognise growth opportunities that can come about by adopting a more efficient and effective business model.
Taking an innovative approach, the program looks at problems as opportunities and helps you develop your entrepreneurial skills.
If you are a supplier of green products and services, the program will take you through a process of technical and entrepreneurship training to help grow your business and increase the supply of green products and services.
If you are user of green products and services, the program looks at ways to deliver cost savings for your business by reducing your footprint, improving your resource use and efficiency, creating new revenue streams by accessing green products and practices, and harnessing consumer demand for sustainable business practices.
The program brings together suppliers and users online so you can interact, increase demand for your products and services, collaborate on green innovations, grow your business network and work together towards building a significant regional capability in this industry.
All participants in the program will work towards building a Green Cluster of sustainable businesses that subscribe to a Green Code of Practice. Subscribers to the Code are committed to:

- Integrated Resource Management
- Innovation
- Continuous improvement and change.
The Green Code of Practice is aligned with existing environmental management approaches and designed to provide your company with a solid base towards other accreditation such as ISO 14000, 14080 and 14068.
